Photography Training and Classes:

We offer several training formats to fit your schedule, and your needs.
Introductory, virtual training or in-person sessions for those who are new to digital photography; Two-hour, in-person sessions for those building skills; Full day, in-person sessions for new to photography for individuals and groups.

Virtual Classes: two hours, once or twice weekly
One class per week: $100 weekly
Two classes per week: $195 weekly
Four-week block, one class per week: $380
Four-week block, two classes per week: $750

In-Person Classes: two hours, once or twice weekly
One class per week: $250
Two classes per week: $475
Four-week block, once class per week: $925

Full-day training; one day, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: $600
This specialized training provides full day, hands-on training for new to DSLR photographers. Beginning with technical instruction in the morning, you will learn how to manage your camera’s functions, aperture, shutter, ISO, manual settings, and priority settings. This class includes a brief introduction to flash photography.
The afternoon includes a 2.5-hour photo walk outdoors, where you will put your new skills to work in real life settings.
The day concludes with a brief introduction to photo editing using open-source software.

Full-day training, groups of six to ten people: $160 per person
This day-long session provides hands-on training in a fun, collaborative setting. Great for team building, couples, friend groups.


**Participants in all in-person classes must have a working DSLR camera, charged battery, camera manual, and appropriate clothing for the weather.
Participants in full-day training must also have a working, charged laptop computer and SD/CF card reader, and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Classes are not provided to minors. GST is not included in prices. Participants take full responsibility for their personal safety and the care of their personal technology.
